David Pastrňák: Czech Ice Hockey Star
Early Life and Career
David Pastrňák was born on May 25, 1996, in Havířov, Czech Republic. He began playing ice hockey at a young age and quickly rose through the ranks of youth hockey in his home country. In 2012, he joined the Växjö Lakers Hockey Club in the Swedish Elite League.
NHL Career
Pastrňák was drafted by the Boston Bruins 25th overall in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut in the 2014-15 season and has quickly become one of the most promising young players in the league.
